PARENTS in Kington Langley went back to school with their children for a Trashasaurus family learning day.
More than 30 families gathered at Langley Fitzurse School for two hours of dinosaur and recycling-themed fun and learning on Saturday May 17.
The children and their parents talked about the book Dinosaurs and All that Rubbish which tells the story of how humans were forced to look for a new place to live after destroying earth with pollution.
Technology formed another important part of the day, when instructors and students from Bath University demonstrated using small robots.
Audrey Palmer, a foundation governor of the school, said: "The whole idea behind the event was to promote children learning with their parents, as a family unit. We were very impressed by how many families came along and may repeat it again."
