THREE hard-working women have been rewarded for their services to the community with a Chippenham Civic Award 2003.
Phyllis Morgan, Margaret Wade and Ivy Ward have each been selected to win an award by Chippenham Town Council.
They will receive a certificate and prize on Civic Sunday on September 9.

She set up the residents association 20 years ago and works with Westlea Housing Association to try and improve life for local people.
She has also worked hard with her husband Jack, 81, creating a weekly social club for pensioners.
Margaret Wade, 82, will receive her award for long-standing service to Cancer Research.
Mrs Wade, of Deansway, joined the Chippenham Cancer Research committee in 1958, and was secretary of the committee for 38 years.
