A TOTAL of £8,000 was presented to various local charities when the Salisbury & District Darts League held its annual presentation evening at Salisbury City Hall.
The league handed cheques of £3,500 to the RNIB and to Wiltshire Blind, as well as a cheque for £1,000 to the Guide Dogs for the Blind.
All the cash was raised by collections held after the league's matches.
More than 350 people attended the event where presentations were also made to those teams and individuals who triumphed during the season.
