THE speaker at the next meeting of Salisbury business networking group the Ambassadors will be Sarah Bates from charity Hope and Homes for Children.
Ms Bates will talk about the charity's recent projects at one planned at the club's breakfast meeting on June 6 at the Grasmere House Hotel in Harnham.
She said next year was the charity's tenth birthday.
"To date the charity has supported more than 3,000 children providing a true home life for children orphaned or abandoned by war and disaster," she said.
"We are keen to grow more in order to help many more children in the future."
Ambassadors provides a venue for business people to meet up, hear about each others' expertise and exchange information on the products or services they offer.
The club supports local charities and one of the reasons for Ms Bates attendance is to thank it for its support of the Heart of Salisbury Campaign.
She said: "Money is still coming in from the campaign and many members supported it."
