ALLDAYS, in Malmesbury High Street, will be closed for most of next week for a refit.
The Co-operative Group bought all 600 Alldays shops across the UK in October and the Malmesbury store will be the first in Wiltshire to have a £150,000 makeover.
The shop will be decorated in the Co-op's own style and the company promises it will be transformed, with modern dcor and a more shopper- friendly layout.
The post office and video hire service will be retained.
Manager Marc Atkins said: "We provide a much valued service in Malmesbury and I am delighted the new-look store will better meet the daily food shopping needs of the community, the improved store will be a real asset."
The shop closes at 1pm on Saturday and will re-open at 7am on June 7.
The new-look store will be officially launched at 10am on June 7 when a donation of £250 will be made to to the funds of the town's St Joseph's Primary School.
