THE Wiltshire selectors have announced the team to play Warwickshire in the first Middleton Cup group match at Stoke Bowls Club in Coventry on June 7.
There are a number of changes to last year's team, due in part to the unavailability of Andy Moore and the absence of Martyn Murley, who has moved to another part of the country. Mike Tyler (Amesbury) and Des Rideout (Westlecot) will make their first Middleton Cup appearances.
Team: Barry Sictorness (Wootton Bassett), Des Rideout, Mel Biggs and Mark Dyer (all Westlecot); Mike Tyler (Amesbury), Russell Francis (Spencer Moulton), Keith Hutchens (Westinghouse) and Graham Shadwell (Spencer Moulton); Kevin Embling (Westlecot), Nigel Price (Cooper-Avon), Graham Hatherall (Westlecot) and Dave Snell (Wootton Bassett); John Thomas (Westlecot), John Williamson (Wootton Bassett), Mike Jackson and Ian Jefferies (both Westlecot); Michael Snell (Wootton Bassett), Mick Crook (Amesbury), Neil Hope (Westlecot) and Neil Smith (Wootton Bassett); Barney Fernandes (Swindon), Gary Morphet (Rodbourne Cheney), Steve Snell (Wootton Bassett) and Steve Warren (Westlecot)

Wiltshire have been drawn away to the winners of Devon and Herefordshire in the national inter-county Top Four competition, the date and venue are to be confirmed depending on the result.
The Wiltshire selectors have opted for a trial match on 31st May at Wootton Bassett between two selected fours, with the winning combination likely to go forward en bloc to represent the county.
The two fours named are: Neil Hope, Ian Jefferies, Mel Biggs and Mark Dyer (all Westlecot);
Barry Sictorness (Wootton Bassett), Graham Shadwell (Spencer Moulton), Neil Smith Wootton Bassett) and Steve Warren (Westlecot).
