PUPILS at Chirton Primary School learned about health and fitness during a special health week just before half-term.
One of the events was an aerobics session run by Anita Hodgson who teaches at Devizes Leisure Centre.
School head Cathy Drury said: "The children really enjoyed the aerobics work out although they thought it was tiring. We were lucky with the weather so we could go outside."
The children and staff who did the aerobics were sponsored with the money raised going to Devizes Opportunity Centre.
The pupils also tried country dancing, led by local postman Brian Lyons, and a yoga class.
They were also taught about healthy eating. Younger pupils made fruit cocktails and a dentist told them about taking care of their teeth. The health week co-incided with Walk to School week and many pupils walked or cycled to school.
