A VICTORIAN toilet divided Corsham town councillors last week when they became bogged down in detail.
Eventually councillors decided to reject the plan to demolish the outside loo of a listed house in Station Road, Corsham.
The owners want to build a patio in its place but must now wait to see whether North Wiltshire District Council will follow the town council's recommendation.
Councillor Roger Fido, who voted in favour of demolishing the toilet, said: "If it was mine the only thing I would use it for would be a tool shed. It is pointless leaving it there."
