STARRY Eyes, the popular annual talent contest, faces an uncertain future unless sponsors come forward to support it.
The event costs about £7,000 to stage and organisers are appealing for support from local businesses.
Organiser Sally Boyle said: "It's once a year and provides entertainment for so many people.
"Everybody is working really hard and it would be so disappointing if it couldn't go ahead."
The show has grown and developed in the three years it has been running, and many people who have taken part in the past now perform at events around the county.
For this year's talent show the performers, many of them
children, are hard at work rehearsing numbers based around James Bond, The Lion King and Grease.
Auditions for Starry Eyes are taking place at Longfield Community Centre on June 15 and the show itself is due to take place at the Civic Hall in Trowbridge on August 1.
Anyone interested in sponsoring the show can contact Sally Boyle on (01225) 763720.
