It's always nice when a member of the royal family visits west Wiltshire, particularly the future King.
Crowds of people gathered in Bradford on Avon on Friday to catch a glimpse of Prince Charles who opened West Barn and a tea shop on the Kennet & Avon Canal. When a member of the royal family makes a special trip like this it always goes down well with the public. At a time when there is frequent talk about the real purpose of the royals, the time taken to meet with local communities can only help boost their image. Often a quick chat can work wonders in changing people's attitudes.
