EXCUSE me! Council tax payers are expected to foot a £270,000 bill to demolish mobile classrooms?
Why not use the folks who have fallen foul of the law shop lifters, muggers, burglars etc who can do this job as community work. No wonder our community charges leap up each year. This waste has got to stop.
And on to the Locarno building. Either the person who has bought it should deal with it or it should be bulldozed and start again. After all, we dispersed with the Tabernacle and the cattle market.
Who needs more bars and clubs, which only cause trouble at weekends?
Forget the past, look to the future and move on before our great great grandchildren find this an old fashioned little town.
