POLICE are continuing their appeal for help in tracking down a man who attacked and robbed a woman in her home.
Dee Tinsley, 46, was punched in the face and robbed by a man claiming to be armed while alone in her house in Collingsmead, Eldene, Swindon, on Friday morning.
The man is described as white, 5ft 6in to 5ft 8in, of medium build with a round face and in his early 20s.
He had dirty fingernails and blue eyes with long, dark eyelashes. He wore baggy, wide-bottomed dark blue jeans, Nike trainers and a burgundy Nike baseball cap.
The man got in through the back door and grabbed Mrs Tinsley in her bathroom.
He demanded money but when she said she had none, he punched her and prised two gold rings from her fingers.
Before escaping, the man also stole Mrs Tinsley's credit card, a £5 note and jewellery belonging to her 16-year-old daughter, Zoe.
Detective Sergeant Kevin Rowles said: "This is an extremely serious incident and we are appealing for anyone who recognises the attacker to contact us."
Anyone with information should call Swindon Police on Swindon 528111.
