Residents in Parks can enjoy free internet access - because The Shop's resource centre has reopened.
And the centre in Cavendish Square, which closed for refurbishment six weeks ago, now boasts 10 computers.
The Shop, which sells clothes and bric-a-brac to fund the services, has moved into new premises in Cavendish Square, making room for the expanded resource centre.
Colin Phillips, vice chairman of The Shop, in Park South, said: "We are very happy to have a shop front and better access to the computing facilities for the community."
He helped set up the retail and resource initiative, which also has photocopying and faxing facilities, in 1998.
Members of the public can use the internet free of charge for the first hour of use.
Jo Allsworth, 43, from Park North, said: "It is great to be able to e-mail so close to home. The centre is so much more convenient than travelling into town just to surf the web or send an e-mail."
