SWINDON FESTIVAL SEASON: A series of world music concerts starts in Old Town on Saturday.
The 10-week World Music at the Bowl festival kicks off with The Soul Brothers bringing township jive from the streets of Johannesburg in South Africa.
They have been moving the hearts and feet of audiences for three decades and are recognised as one of the most influential township groups ever.
They will be on stage from 8pm to 9pm and again from 9.30pm until 10.30pm.
Morgan Heritage, from Jamaica, take to the stage on June 21 from 8pm, while Roberto Pla's Latin Ensemble, from Columbia and the UK will be entertaining crowds on July 5 from 8pm.
Other concerts coming up later in the summer include electronic folk from Scottish band Shooglenifty, Bhangra with DCS and Caribbean musicians SW Storm.
The Bowl is situated in the Town Gardens just off Bath Road, between Quarry Road and Westlecot Road.
