So no-one wants to give Swindon skaters a home, then how about the Bowl at the Town Gardens?
It's contained in its own area, fenced off and being below ground level out of sight to most users of the park, and the noise would be contained.
The banking would need to be paved and some jumps would need to be put in.
As for toilets the bowl did have its own, if not the toilets in the gardens should be available.
How do you control it? We are told that the skaters are responsible people, then charge them a reasonable licence fee, let them regulate themselves and the park rangers could check the licences.
And yes I do know that bands play on some weekend evenings, but if the dates were made available and posted then I am sure that the skaters would accept this.
