A 41-year-old man was arrested and released on police bail on Saturday, May 31, pending further inquiries after a woman alleged she was raped at The Pines Hotel, Chippenham, that day.
On Sunday afternoon the same woman was found cutting her wrists on the street in Lowden On Tuesday at 12.20pm paramedics were called to the churchyard behind St Andrew's Church and found the same woman cutting her wrists with a razor blade.
