Neston Recycling Group has launched a website to encourage local people to help make their home the most environmentally friendly village in Britain.
The website lists recycling events and ideas on how to be more environmentally minded as well as listing other helpful recycling websites.
Later in the year NRG will be launching the Corsham Community Area Rethink Rubbish Directory, in association with the Wiltshire Wildlife Trust. This will be a reference booklet to find out where you can recycle your waste or unwanted items.
The group is asking any local organisation or individual who uses what would normally be thrown away such as stamps or aluminium foil to contact them so they can be listed in the directory.
It is also running a competition at Neston School to design the front cover of the directory.
The website also asks more volunteers to come forward to help with the group.
"Even if you are not a committee person but could offer a bit of your time, we'd love to hear from you," it said.
NRG founder, Andy Collett of Moor Park, started the group last October after recognising the need to recycle more and local people's concern for the environment.
"People attend for different reasons, from wanting to be able to recycle more, to being worried about the destruction of our planet," he said.
