CHILDREN from Oare Pre-school have been taking part in a Native American style pow-wow.
The under fives decorated their home-made tepees with prints of their hands and feet and, therefore, for the day became members of the Minihandfoot tribe.
The youngsters were shown how to make their own costumes after printing and dyeing their own fabric. They also made other typical Native American items, including totem poles, necklaces, medicine pouches, dream catchers and finger puppets.
They were entertained with traditional North American Indian music by Geoff and Alex Miles of Marlborough based Kaya drumming group.
