CRUDWELL: A women of her 80s was the victim of an attempted burglary for the third time in a year on Wednesday.
The woman heard a noise coming from her back door at about 10am and found a stockily built white man described as between 5ft 11ins and 6ft 2ins, with bushy black hair and dressed all in black, had opened the door.
He failed to get in because the chain was on the door and fled towards the A429.
