AN impressive tight spell of bowling from Ben White set up a win for Marshfield by six wickets over local rivals Box in Gloucestershire and Wiltshire Division Two.
Off spinner White took three wickets and conceded just 16 runs in his 12 overs, eight of which were maidens.
Box had started well, with a 72 opening stand between David Kelly and Richard Foley, but when White dismissed Kelly for 27, followed by Foley for 45, runs dried up.
Tony Trotman (17) was the only other batsman to reach double figures, with Box contributing to their own downfall with three run outs.
Gerald Hayward picked up an early wicket, but any Marshfield worries were allayed by a half century partnership, Rupert Crockett scoring 26 and Williams making a stylish 56.
