ANDY Dawson bowled a dazzling spell to set up Chippenham's eight wicket win in Premier Division Two of the Stroud and Swindon West of England League.
The slow left armer took five for 21 in just 20 balls to send Downend tumbling from 144 for four to 184 all out.
Dawson captured the vital wicket of top scorer Pandya for 61 and then skittled out the lower middle order as Downend were dismissed in the 48th over.
Earlier Chris Fry had made the initial breakthrough by dismissing both openers and Paul Bates, Jason Searle and Richard Bates collected a wicket apiece.
Chippenham were given a solid start to the reply, with openers Ian Merryweather and Mark Hunt sharing a first wicket partnership of 90. Hunt made 25, including three fours and Merryweather top scored with 68, including nine fours and a six.
After their dismissals, Ollie Bailey (41 not out) and Jack Humphrys (19) saw Chippenham home with nearly five overs to spare.
