A conference on how to help children deal with traumatic events in their lives will be held in Tidworth on June 12.
The Wiltshire Children and Young People's Services Partnership's seventh annual conference will be held at Tidworth Conference Centre .
Dr Tony Newman, the principal research and development officer at Barnardos, will give the keynote speech on Promoting Resilience a review of effective strategies for child care services.
This will be followed by a series of 16 workshops during the day that will look at the pioneering work being done in Wiltshire and across the region to help children and young people cope with challenges in their lives.
Peter Fanshawe, who represents Wiltshire County Council on the partnership action team, said: "The conference has sold out and we are delighted it is proving to be so popular.
"This year's conference will look at how children and young people can be helped to deal with adversity, cope with uncertainty and recover from traumatic events in their lives."
