IT was hats off to our four-legged friends at this year's Netheravon top hat day on Saturday.
The festivities, which include the wearing of beribboned top hats, got under way with a special pets' service at All Saints Church.
No parishioners were allowed into the pews without an animal escort and extra copies of the order of service were on hand for eager canines to chew.
In a change to recent tradition, there was no parade through the village. Instead, it was all back to the Dog and Gun pub for an afternoon of fun in the sun, with stalls and a bouncy castle.
The prince and princess for the day were crowned having won their teachers' recommendation as shining examples at school and enthusiastic contributors to the life of the village.
