IF you watch television you have probably noticed that 1,400 teachers are to be made redundant for various reasons, but mainly because our schools cannot afford to pay them.
At the same time a TV advert is running urging people to become teachers because we are desperately short of them and it's a good career move. I wonder how much that advertising campaign cost.
