Two men have been jailed after an unprovoked attack on a man in the street in the early hours of May 10. Two men set upon another man behind the library in Westbury, hitting him with a can of beer with such force the can exploded.
The man was left with serious facial injuries after the attack.
On Wednesday, Magistrates in Chippenham sentenced a 17-year-old youth to six months in prison in connection with the attack. A second man, nineteen-year-old Craig Hautin from Westbury was sentenced to 12 months in prison for his part in the incident.
