JUNE 8, WARMINSTER: THIS Sunday sees the first band concert of a full summer season in Warminster Park.
The Town Band will be performing from 2-4.30pm at the bandstand next to the boating lake.
The next concert will be the Royal British Legion Band of Wilton on June 29.
There will be three more concerts in July and four in August featuring bands including the popular Bratton Silver Band and the Amesbury Town Band, a favourite from last year's season.
The concerts are being organised by Warminster town and district councillor Paul Batchelor.
He said: "These concerts will be a wonderful opportunity for people to have a leisurely afternoon in the park and I hope will add to the obvious affection and pride that the people of Warminster have for this great asset."
