A COMMUNITY group is mailing 1,100 homes to get feedback on the sorts of projects they should pursue.
The Warminster and Villages Community Partnership was set up at the end of last year to support local initiatives.
The first questionnaires were sent to homes in Warminster and surrounding villages this week and the process will continue throughout the summer.
The forms ask residents to state what they like and dislike about their neighbourhood and what they would change. At the end people are asked if they are interested in realising these changes by working with the partnership.
The group has been allocated a £25,000 grant by the South West Regional Development Agency.
The partnership, which succeeds Action for Warminster, covers Bishopstrow, Boyton, Chapmanslade, Chitterne, Codford, Corsley, Corton, Crockerton, the Deverills, Heytesbury and Horninghsham.
If the partnership can develop a strategy and action plan it could receive thousands of pounds for deserving projects.
After feedback from the questionnaires the partnership will hold a meeting in the autumn.
