BATH have signed two players from West Country rivals Gloucester and Bristol.
England international second row Rob Fidler is joining the club from Gloucester.
He was a key member of the Gloucester side that lifted the Powergen Cup and finished top of the Zurich Premiership league table. Fidler is a vastly experienced player and made over 250 appearances in a successful career spanning nine years for the Cherry and Whites.
Bath have also signed centre Andrew Higgins from Bristol Shoguns.
Higgins, 21, was one of the young English prospects to come to the fore in the Zurich Premiership last season and gained significant experience having worked alongside Wallaby World Cup winner Jason Little and All Black international Daryl Gibson with the Shoguns.
Bath have also signed props David Flatman and Duncan Bell and scrum half Martyn Wood.
