Swindon dancers swept the board at the Weston Junior Arts Festival last weekend scooping 42 gold medals out of 47 classes.
Mollie Tanner from the Tanwood School of Dance and Performing Arts took her students to the festival which was held in the Playhouse Theatre, Weston-super-Mare.
"We were delighted,'' said Mollie. "The kids worked very hard. They were exhausted. We were amazed at how the dancers performed and the adjudicator said some wonderful things.''
The dancers also managed to scoop lots of silverware 18 cups in total awarded for classes such as cabaret-classical solo, modern solo, Greek solo, ballet solo, tap solo, character solo, national solo.
Trophies were handed to Tanwood pupils Keith Henderson in the boys's group, Luke Browne for national dance.
Madison Smith took both the junior ballet and junior character dance and the trophy for trios was awarded to Kelly Edwards, Niccy Gosling and Chloe Little.
But it wasn't only the students who waltzed away with all the prizes, Mollie her herself won the teacher's trophy.
Mollie and her daughter Pollyann Tanner run the school from their new premises in Dowling Street.
The dancers have also scored recent successes at Cheltenham Bristol and Swindon Festivals.
