A CIRCUS skills workshop was just one of the activities on offer to children in Trowbridge on Thursday.
About 150 youngsters took part in the town's fun day, which also included sports and fitness workshops and mask making.
Organiser Christine Scrivens said: "I think they all had a good time. They went home exhausted, although not as exhausted as I was!"
The youngsters learned how to juggle or balance on a tight rope or a ball.
Back on the ground there was face painting, team sports and party games.
The event is held by the town council twice a year, in the spring and autumn, while the youngsters are on their half term holidays.
It has been running for six years and has proved very popular with both children and their parents.
Many people helped out at the event including members of the town council and youth council as well as youngsters from The John of Gaunt and Clarendon Schools and the 2196 Air Training Corps Cadets.
The next fun day will be on October 30 and forms will be sent out to local primary schools. More information for parents is also available from the town council.
