Supermarine B failed to halt the progress of Division One highfliers Rodbourne Cheney, losing 74-68 in the latest matches from the Swindon and District 4-Rink Bowls League.
Supermarine made the Swindon side fight hard to preserve their 100 per cent record and were only beaten by six shots in a tense encounter.
Tipping the scales in Cheney's favour once again was the rink skipped by Steve Cornish, who beat Frank Gardiner by nine shots 23-14.
Richard Gardiner's rink fought back for Supermarine with a 20-14 victory over Tony Flemington, pulling back six shots.
Dave Jones' rink finished all square with his namesake on 18 shots each, but a 19-16 rink victory by Gary Morphet over Bill Jordan ensured success for the unbeaten Cheney side.
Shrivenham took over the leadership of the section following their massive 103-56 win over Stratton Churchways B.
All four Shrivenham rinks came out on top, chalking up over 20 shots each. Ken Downton beat T Hoare 22-18, Roy Dixon registered a 20-17 win over Terry Brown, John Simpson beat J Malem 22-10, and Barry Hayward's rink notched up 39 shots against J Haydon's 11.
Wootton Bassett B, who were promoted from Division Two last season after going through the season unbeaten, picked up their fourth win from five matches beating Wroughton 93-71.
Bassett won on just two rinks, D Fackrell beating Jim Hunter 26-12 and Adam Small's rink picking up 13 shots in a 28-15 win over R Jefferies. For Wroughton Roger Cornish beat H Jones 27-22 and Stan Clapton and Ken Roe's rink finished equal on 17 shots each.
Also in Division One Wootton Bassett A beat Supermarine A 97-65 and Swindon beat Highworth 94-68.
Marlborough took over the leadership of Division Two from Town Gardens following a hefty 103-57 win over Garrards and 107-52 success over North End.
Town Gardens overwhelmed Wanborough by 119-54 all four rinks chalking up big wins, Les Sullivan 38-11, Malcolm Price 26-12, Dave Herold 25-19 and Barry Pittuck 30-12.
Westlecot B gained a comfortable 90-71 win over Stratton Churchways A, Westlecot winning on three rinks with Pete Cann picking up two points for Stratton with a 21-16 win over Tom Hinde.
At the bottom end of the table Wanborough, West End and North End are still looking for their first victory.
