THE life of a catwalk model could be closer than you think if you're out and about in Havelock Square Saturday 7, June between 11am and 4pm.
Staff from Specsavers Opticians were due to search Swindon's town centre, photographing possible entrants for this year's Specsavers Look of 2003 modelling competition.
The competition is open to anyone aged 16 and over who wears glasses; whether they have prescription lenses or just wear them for fashion.
If you think you have an eye catching look or know someone who does, either visit the store in Havelock Square or approach one of the members of staff on the street who will take your picture and make sure your entry is sent in for judging.
The winner will scoop a year's modelling contract with UK agency ModelPlan.
Prizes also include a two-week all-inclusive holiday for two in the Caribbean from Going Places, £250 of spending money, £250 worth of Almay skincare and makeup products and an eyecare voucher worth £150.
There will be another talent scouting day next Saturday 14, June.
