CHILDMINDERS in Swindon are holding a family session to celebrate National Childminding Week.
Parents, children and carers are invited to come along with their children to a Read Together morning at Even Swindon Community Centre in Jennings Street on Thursday, June 19.
They should bring their children's favourite story book and encourage them to dress up as a character from the book.
A storyteller will be reading stories and rhymes to the children from 10am to 11am, and there will also be craft activities and face painting.
The event is one of thousands taking place around the country for National Childminding Week, which runs from Saturday until June 21.
The week aims to highlight how childminders provide a vital service for working parents and is organised by Trio Childcare Connections, which provides support and training for registered childminders in Swindon.a
Refreshments will be provided and for more information contact Trio Childcare Connections on Swindon 514422.
