A superb all-round display at Colwall gave Goatacre a much-needed first Glos/Wilts Division One win of the season.
After restricting their hosts to 149-7 off their 50 overs, Goatacre knocked off the runs for the loss of four wickets in just 36 overs, thanks largely to an unbeaten 56 by Jif Wilkins.
Earlier, Goatacre were given a good start thanks to tight opening spells from Kevin Iles and Pete Turner, who restricted Colwall to just 26 from the first 10 overs.
The introduction of Ran Heer in the 12th over brought immediate success as he bowled Pakistani import Majeed for 11.
Iles continued to exert a stranglehold over the batsmen and was rewarded with the wickets of Wolfendale and Powell, thanks to good catches from wicketkeeper Sam Parish and Rob Turner.
The former skipper finished with the impressive figures of 2-22 off his 15 overs.
Wilkins replaced Iles and had immediate success in his second over, having Bunford caught by his brother Matt for seven to leave Colwall on just 74-4 after 33 overs.
Although Riley offered resistance to score 44, Wilkins and Turner bowled well at the death and kept the hosts to 149-7.
In reply, the visitors were given a solid start by Turner and Steve Gee who put on 33 in 12 overs before Gee fell leg before for six.
This brought Wilkins to the crease and he batted watchfully, allowing Turner to score freely at the other end.
They progressed to 60 before Turner was bowled for a classy 32.
Skipper Pete Turner was then dismissed, bringing Adam Iles to the crease.
He contributed only seven out of a partnership of 40 as Wilkins began to dismantle the bowling, the highlight being a huge pulled six off Majeed.
After Iles was out leg before, Kevin Iles joined Wilkins, and they proceeded to knock off the remaining 48 runs in 11 overs, leaving Goatacre comprehensive winners.
