SECURITY company Blick has recorded half-year profits before tax of £2.7m.
In the six months leading up to the end of March, the firm, based in Bramble Road, Elgin, had a turnover of £34m, slightly less than for the same period last year.
Figures for the same six month period last year show a profit before tax of £2.6m.
The firm supplies and installs security equipment, such as CCTV cameras, for companies, housing associations and private homes.
Chief executive Vanda Murray said: "Against a backdrop of challenging trading conditions, turnover and profit performance have been sound, and Blick has been actively identifying new business opportunities.
"An important strategic move in the first half of the year saw us signing a distribution agreement with Bosch USA.
"Last week, we extended this partnership with Bosch with a global distribution agreement for our new access control system, EasiNet.
"We continue to drive our business forward, and are confident of a satisfactory trading outcome."
The firm currently has 20,000 contracts across both the public and private sectors.
