CONCORDE fans mourning the end of the supersonic jet are expected to snap up limited edition envelopes marking two historic dates in its history.
The first envelope marks the 20th anniversary of the first British Concorde flight to Paris.
The illustration features a British Airways Concorde together with some of Paris's famous landmarks, such as the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe, Notre Dame and the Louvre.
The envelopes were flown supersonic from Paris's Charles De Gaulle airport on May 31 the last day Air France flew Concorde.
The second cover has been produced to mark that final flight. All the covers were on the aircraft that flew a round trip from Charles De Gaulle airport.
The envelope depicts the first direct flights to New York's JFK airport in 1976.
Brian Trubshaw, who led the British Concorde flight test team at RAF Fairford, is shown on the flight deck of Concorde 001 with French counterpart Andre Turcat.
The commemorative covers have been produced by the Cambridge Stamp Centre and each one has been signed by Concorde pilots, First Officers and others connected with Concorde.
Each cover cost £15.95 plus postage. For details ring (01223) 363980.
