ANIMAL welfare campaigner and actress Virginia McKenna, who starred in the film Born Free, is to visit a Swindon school to open a wildlife area.
Staff and pupils at Oaktree Nursery and Primary School in Park South have developed the site with the help of the Born Free Foundation, the environmental charity founded by the actress.
The opening, which takes place on Friday at noon as part of an environmental awareness week, is the culmination of two years' hard work.
