A hard-hitting display of 77 from Frank Whiting took Marlborough to a four-wicket win at Box in Glos/Wilts Division Two.
Box batted first and were in a good position thanks to Richard Foley (64), Neil Pettit (32) and Tony Trotman (21).
A mid-innings collapse of five wickets for just 12 runs, in the space of 25 balls, meant they could only muster 154-9 from their 45 overs though, off spinner Mahesh Patel picking up 5-47.
Box bowled themselves back into contention, reducing Marlborough to 62-5 from 29 overs, Foley, Hayward and Unwin each taking two wickets.
However, the game changed when Whiting hit a huge leg side six .
It was the first of his 10 boundaries that propelled the visitors to victory.
