SCHOOLS across Wiltshire are taking part in a private fundraising scheme launched this month.
The School Plus scheme provides schools with a discount voucher book for free which they can then sell to parents and their local community. Schools keep £6 cash from every £10 book sold.
The scheme is being run by a private company supported by the National Association of Teachers and Secondary Heads Association and has been taken up by 20 schools across the county.
These schools include Frogwell Primary in Chippenham, Covingham Park Infant School in Swindon, Easton Royal First Steps Pre School in Pewsey, Cherhill CE Primary School in Calne and St Peter's CE Primary School in Devizes.
The booklet contains £600 worth of retail discounts.
