HARRY Potter fans are being invited to celebrate at Devizes library the publication of the young wizard's latest adventure.
Librarians at Wiltshire County Council have organised the event to coincide with the publication on June 21 of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix by J K Rowling.
Readings from the fifth Harry Potter adventure will be held at 10am and 2pm.
There will also be quizzes, treasure hunts and face painting for children of all ages between 10am and 3pm. All the events are free.
Community librarian Wendy Beaver said: "We are expecting a lot of interest. Children are already buzzing with excitement at the book's imminent arrival.
"I think they love the magical world that JK Rowling has created and they care about what happens to Harry Potter and his friends.
"Harry Potter has become a huge phenomenon and touched the lives of most children."
