RESIDENTS in Bradford on Avon are being invited to remember a special feast day and celebrate by 'Singing round the Town' next Saturday.
June 21 heralds Midsummer's Day and for the third year in a row a group of residents is organising a singing, dance and poetry event.
Organiser, Chris Samuel, said: "We felt that midsummer's day was one of those dates that people forgot, so we want to revive it.
"The event is getting steadily bigger, and with over 600 people last year, we are hoping to draw a big crowd at the weekend."
This year, organisers have included a series of history walks and talks, and the event will end with a 'Big Sing' at 6pm in Westbury Gardens.
