COUNCILLORS in Bradford on Avon have come up with some new solutions to solve the congestion that clogs the town during rush hour each day.
Last month Wiltshire County Council said a relief road for Bradford on Avon would not be included in the next Structure Plan for Wiltshire, ruling it out for at least 10 years.
The town council has set up the Bradford on Avon Community Transport Group which plans to lobby Wiltshire County Council to release money from the transport plan for a series of small projects they hope will ease the traffic problem.
Mayor Vicki Landell-Mills said: "My view is that we should have some sort of congestion charge for people coming into town."
