POLICE officers revealed how Natalie Williams was arrested for breach of the peace after attacking and threatening to kill her husband during a drink and drugs binge.
Randle Williams called Wiltshire officers to the couple's Greenland Mills home at around 7am on January 9, 2002. Sgt Melanie Rolph said she found Mrs Williams lying in bed after taking a combination of alcohol and prescription pills.
Williams told officers his wife downed a cocktail of drink and drugs and he had been 'having trouble with her all night'. During the incident Mrs Williams hurled a plant pot onto the bonnet of her husband's Mercedes.
Calling an ambulance, Sgt Rolph tried to escort Mrs Williams to the front door but she flew into the kitchen and attacked her husband who held back her arms and tried to calm her down. Officers had to restrain the 33-year-old on the floor and handcuff her before leading her outside and into an ambulance.
Sgt Rolph said: "Mrs Williams made threats to kill Randle and she also said that colleagues from her work would do the same."
