ON behalf of Trowbridge Amateur Operatic Society I would like to thank all those who came and supported our recent production of Anything Goes at the Arc Theatre.
Performing at the Arc Theatre was a new venture for us, presenting new challenges as well as many benefits.
As a result of the success of Anything Goes we have decided to return to the Arc Theatre for our next production, though the production of The Mikado next May will still take place at the Civic Hall.
Honk! will be performed at the Arc Theatre from December 1-6, and not at the Civic Hall in November as was advertised in the programme. It is the story of the ugly duckling, but brought up to date with fabulous music it beat The Lion King to become Best New Musical of 2000 and is suitable for all the family. There will be a matinee performance on the Saturday especially aimed at children.
We are looking forward to our return to the Arc Theatre in December and hope that we can enjoy even more support as we bring this new musical to Trowbridge.
