MICHAELA Vardy's letter in the Wiltshire Times dated May 30 is unjust; The Shires and Castle Place toilets are supplied to the public free of charge.
Yet the public are the ones who vandalise and leave litter, blocked toilets, sinks and urinals, which cause the flooding, which the cleaners do their best to keep under control.
With the summer holidays fast approaching, it is in the People's Park, in the town centre, which the council supplied with just three toilets (one men's, one ladies, one disabled), where the amenities are inadequate. I would therefore suggest Mrs Vardy complain to the council for the lack of amenities and not rely on private companies for her ablution.
MR J SAWYER,
Trowbridge.
