Gymnasts from all over the country were in Melksham last weekend for the English Championships, where some incredibly talented sportsmen and women were put through their paces by the judges.

The Wiltshire School of Gymnastics was chosen to host the event because of the excellence of its facilities and the high level of organisation of events in the past.

This is a massive boost for Melksham, and the organisers should take pride in knowing they are the best in the country at organising these events. And let us not forget the gymnasts from West Wiltshire who gave athletes from the rest of the UK some tough competition.
