A REVIEW of security is being called for by a councillor after a vandal attack at Radnor Street cemetery in Kingshill.
It is to be hoped that Michael Barnes' request receives a sympathetic ear.
Cemeteries reverence the dead, but they serve a far more important purpose as places of contemplation and quiet for those the dead leave behind.
It is vital that this tranquillity is protected and preserved.
