SWINDON & District Bowling Association were beaten for the second weekend in a row.
They lost by 14 shots to the Kennet League in their latest friendly match, which was staged at Shrivenham.
Led by senior vice-president Ken Downton in the absence of president Mike Large, the S&D went down 127-113 although rink honours were shared.
Despite being in existence for many years, this was the Kennet League's first-ever representative match. The league covers an area from Hungerford to Reading.
The two leagues hope to make this an annual fixture.
The S&D rinks skipped by Shrivenham duo Ken Downton and Mike Teagle, and Supermarine's Jim Nelson, all won, with the latter recording the biggest success with a nine-shot winning margin.
At the tea break at 10 ends the match was extremely close with only three shots separating the two sides. But in the latter stages S&D were unable to hold their opponents who extended their overall advantage to 14 shots.
S&D's next representative match is away this Sunday at Little Compton when they meet South Warwickshire BA.
