A mother in her mid twenties who was subjected to a serious sexual assault at her house in Elmina Road on Saturday has been discharged from the Great Western Hospital after being treated for a minor head injury.
Her baby, who was in the house at the time of the assault, was unhurt.
Police have taken several items of property from the victims house for forensic tests.
Police spokeswoman, Alvina Kumar, said: "At this stage it appears that the motive for the men going into the house is drug related. For operational reasons, we cannot comment any further."
