MALMESBURY slumped to a 10-wicket defeat against Corsham in their Under 11 North Wilts Junior League clash.
Opener Tom Dally top scored with 18, but Malmesbury could only reach 49-7. In reply, openers William Wales (30 not out) and Sam Wood (13 not out) saw Corsham home.
Chippenham Arrows posted 121-4 in their 20 overs against Calne.
Steven Bullen (47), Robbie Jones (19) and Ashley Shipton (13 not out) were the mainstays.
Thomas Chase (27) and Craig Edwards (34 not out) batted Calne (94-8) to a draw as Jones and James Bull each took 2-18.
At Cannings, the home side scored 92-6 against Chippenham Blades, Sam Williams scoring a fine 31. Matthew Harding took 3-6.
The Blades mustered 75-7, including 59 extras, to secure a losing draw as Tom Schneider took 2-8.
At Under 13 level, Mehdi Ibrahim had an outstanding match as Cannings beat Erlestoke by 112 runs.
The opener scored 74 to take Cannings to 187-9 in 35 overs, Stuart Greener (3-13) and Toby Dorgan (2-22) the pick of the bowlers. Ibrahim then produced a devastating spell of 6-12 in seven overs to seal victory.
Chippenham and Wootton Bassett under 15 played out an exciting draw, the former amassing 238 all out in 42.4 overs.
Skipper Will Couzens scored 70 off 42 balls, supported by James Humphrey (40) as Robert Gianotti took 4-53.
Wootton Bassett replied strongly through Lee Giles 74 and Adam Ward 54, but steady bowling by Tom Huws (3-22) and Michael Roberts (2-36) saw them finish at 203-9.
James Selby (53), Paul Williamson (26), David Russell (23) and Charles Moss (20) enabled Cannings to reach 175 all out against Purton. Daniel Atkin, Scott Dickinson and Campbell with three wickets each the pick.
Purton struggled against the bowling of Paul Pitman, who took 4-2 runs in eight, and were out for 81.
